Position Summary

As a Tracking Specialist at White Shark Media®, you will be responsible for implementing and managing tracking solutions to ensure the digital marketing team can accurately measure the return on investment of our clients' PPC marketing campaigns.

In this role, you will work with various platforms, including Call Tracking Metrics, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Meta Business Suite, Google Merchant Center, and Data Feed Watch.

You are expected to be a proactive problem-solver, with a curious mindset and a strong desire to stay updated on the ever-evolving best practices in the field of digital marketing.

Required Skills

  • Written & Spoken English Level: Intermediate
  • Education: Technical/University Degree in Systems Engineering or Computing
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Web Developer / Coding

Responsibilities

#1 Tracking Setup, Installation, and Troubleshooting for WSM Clients

  • Install tracking for new customers.
  • Troubleshoot tracking issues and discrepancies for existing customers.
  • Support client communications for special tracking requests.

#2 Platform Maintenance and Billing Management

  • Clean up platforms to ensure WSM is only billed for active clients.
  • Eliminate inactive tracking numbers and accounts from Call Tracking Metrics.

#3 Tracking Hygiene and Audits

  • Conduct quarterly reviews of WSM's active portfolio.
  • Identify and address any tracking inconsistencies or opportunities.
  • Resolve issues within standard tracking deadlines.

#4 Ongoing Training

  • Host Q&A sessions with the Product and Sales team, addressing common tracking questions.
  • Provide support and training materials for Strategists and Baby Sharks.
  • Create and maintain tracking guides for the knowledge base to ensure easy access for Strategists.

#5 Contribute to the development and implementation of new projects, activities, and processes that benefit the performance of the departments and the company

Know-How & Certifications:

  • Web Development Basics: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (required)
  • Experience with WordPress or Similar CMSs (required)
  • Familiarity with PHP or similar Server-side languages (required)
  • Google Tag Manager (preferred)
  • Google Analytics Certified (preferred)
  • Google Ads Certified (preferred)
