Data Architect

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in data modeling, design, and structuring, along with working knowledge of SQL and core data engineering concepts, and will be responsible for organizing, analyzing, and transforming data into meaningful insights that support business decisions. Success in this role requires high attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure data accuracy and usability.

Responsibilities:

• Elicit business requirements and plan overall data design based on the business requirements
• Execute comprehensive data discovery to understand data requirements and evaluate data sources Design Entity Relationship Diagrams and Data Flow Diagrams to illustrate data movement needed to deliver business requirements
• Create and maintain data mapping document designed for the ETL build of the Data Engineers
• Implement and execute foundational and established data modeling and architecture standards and practices
• Create, design, and maintain design documents
• Data Flow Diagrams from ingestion to processing
• Entity Relationship Diagrams, Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Models
• Detailed Data Mapping and Design Specifications Document detailing transformation logics
• Maintain thorough documentation of underlying data discovery findings and data dictionaries

Qualifications:

• At least 2+ years of relevant experience, or fresh graduates with strong data modeling and data discovery skills
• Experience and skills in data modeling, data designing and data structuring
• Knowledgeable in SQL and foundational Data Engineering concepts
• Excellent communication in both written and verbal Strong capability in data discovery and data modeling practices
• High attention to detail when building conceptual, logical, and physical data models and diagrams and mapping and design specifications document.
• Eagerness to learn data modeling and data architecture practices, emerging technologies, and data platforms Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and data discovery tasks
