Consultant Software Engineer - Finacle

We are looking for a talented and motivated Finacle Software Engineer to join our team. The role involves developing, enhancing, and maintaining Finacle Core Banking solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions. You will play a critical role in ensuring the stability and functionality of core banking systems that support business operations.

Responsibilities:

• Application Development: Design and implement customizations and enhancements for Finacle Core Banking systems to meet business requirements.

• API Integration: Develop APIs to enable seamless integration between Finacle and third-party systems.

• Customization: Create and customize Finacle modules, workflows, menus, and reports.

• System Optimization: Optimize scripts and applications to improve system performance and scalability.

• Testing: Conduct comprehensive unit, system integration, and user acceptance testing.

• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues within the Finacle platform to ensure system reliability.

• Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and process workflows.

• Compliance: Ensure adherence to security and regulatory standards in banking software development.

• Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, IT teams, and vendors to deliver projects and resolve issues.

• Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance to ensure the high availability of Finacle systems.

Qualifications:

Must have

• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including planning, development, testing, and deployment.

• Hands-on experience with Finacle Core Banking solutions (e.g., versions 10.x/11.x).

• Expertise in Finacle Scripting, SQL, PL/SQL, and database management systems (Oracle/MySQL).

• Proficiency in using version control tools such as Git, GitHub, or GitLab.

• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs for system integration.

• Familiarity with Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting.

Nice to have

• Certification in Finacle Core Banking solutions.

• Knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure for banking applications.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments..
