Job Overview

We are building a talent pool for Software Engineers with Avaloq expertise to support upcoming banking and wealth management projects. Candidates in this pool may be considered for future engagements involving core banking enhancements, system integrations, and large-scale enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and support Avaloq core banking modules and applications

• Customize Avaloq Banking System (ABS) functionalities based on business requirements

• Configure and maintain Avaloq parameterization, workflows, and interfaces

• Design and implement integrations between Avaloq and external systems

• Perform unit testing, system testing, and support UAT activities

• Troubleshoot production issues and provide root cause analysis

• Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and technical teams

• Prepare technical documentation and implementation notes

• Ensure solutions align with banking security, performance, and compliance standards

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field

• 3+ years of experience working with Avaloq Banking System

• Strong knowledge of Avaloq scripting, customization, and configuration

• Experience supporting core banking, wealth management, or private banking platforms

• Understanding of banking products such as payments, securities, lending, or client onboarding

• Experience in system integration, APIs, or middleware is an advantage

• Familiarity with Agile or waterfall delivery methodologies

Preferred Skills

• Experience in banking or financial services environments

• Knowledge of SQL and database concepts

• Exposure to Avaloq upgrades, migrations, or rollouts

• Experience working with offshore/onshore delivery models

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
