Avaloq Technical Lead

Role Overview

The role is for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) specializing in the Avaloq Core Banking Platform, focusing on analysis, development, implementation, and coordination of changes within the platform. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the platform's functionality and efficiency, directly impacting the business's operational capabilities.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Build and maintain code, including new customizations, enhancements, and hot fixes.
2. Perform parameterization and customization in Avaloq.
3. Assist with FixPack upgrades and resolve issues resulting from the upgrade.
4. Create installation packages and manage deployment in non-production environments.
5. Document processes, including deployment guides and development unit testing artifacts.
6. Provide support to business users during user acceptance testing.
7. Address issues encountered in production environments.
8. Support ongoing and future Avaloq projects.

Required Qualifications

1. At least 6 years of technical experience in the Avaloq Core Banking Platform.
2. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
3. Knowledgeable in Avaloq kernel codes, Avaloq AMI, CCM, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Shell scripting.
4. Experience with Release Management.
5. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with business users.
6. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
7. Experience in training or mentoring junior team members.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

1. Certification and experience in RMWP and AFP.
