The Network Engineer – Data Network Infrastructure is responsible for supporting enterprise and hospitality network environments, with a strong focus on guest connectivity, wired and wireless networks, and access infrastructure. The role involves operational support, deployments, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance across hotel and gaming environments. The engineer will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure reliable network services while following monitoring, ticketing, and change management processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain enterprise and hospitality network infrastructure, including wired, wireless, and guest networks
  • Manage guest internet platforms (e.g., Antlabs), including session management and troubleshooting hotel sign-in issues
  • Coordinate with PMS teams for session updates and connectivity-related changes
  • Perform VLAN changes, configuration backups, uplink redundancy checks, and SOH monitoring on access and distribution switches
  • Administer Network Access Control (NAC), including whitelisting of wired and wireless devices
  • Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot wireless access points in coordination with ELV vendors
  • Maintain accurate documentation and MAC tagging for access points across switches, controllers, and interfaces
  • Support IP telephony deployments and troubleshooting for hotel BOH and FOH environments
  • Support GPON networks for hotel and gaming environments, including project deployments, preventive maintenance, and health checks
  • Conduct regular monitoring, ticket handling, RFC creation, and on-call (duty phone) support
  • Perform preventive maintenance activities and support access pass coordination

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience supporting enterprise or hospitality network environments
  • Strong knowledge of wired and wireless networking, including VLANs and switching
  • Experience with guest Wi-Fi platforms, NAC solutions, or captive portals is an advantage
  • Familiarity with GPON, fiber networks, or access network infrastructure is a plus
  • Experience deploying and troubleshooting wireless access points
  • Basic knowledge of IP telephony or voice networks is preferred
  • Experience with ticketing systems, monitoring tools, and change management processes
  • Willingness to support on-call duties and after-hours maintenance
  • Strong troubleshooting, coordination, and documentation skills
