Product Management Intern

Overview

We're looking for a proactive, resourceful Product Management Intern to support our product team over a six-month internship. This role offers hands-on experience in various aspects of product management, including requirements management, product research, validation, testing, and cross-functional coordination, contributing to the overall success of the product team.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Gather, document, and analyze business and user requirements
2. Maintain and update requirement specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
3. Conduct market and user research to validate new feature ideas
4. Assist in designing and executing product tests, usability studies, and pilot programs
5. Collect and analyze feedback data to inform product decisions
6. Work closely with designers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on scope and timelines
7. Facilitate meetings, track action items, and communicate progress updates
8. Help prioritize backlog items and prepare sprint planning materials
9. Contribute to competitive analyses, product roadmaps, and go-to-market plans

Required Qualifications

1. Currently enrolled in a degree program in Business Management, Marketing, Organizational Communication, Information Technology, or a related field
2. Strong written and verbal communication skills
3. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks independently
4. Demonstrated resourcefulness and 'go-getter' attitude—ready to dive in and solve problems

Preferred Qualifications

1. Basic familiarity with agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello)
2. Prior exposure to or experience in a tech startup environment
3. Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
4. Interest in product management and technology trends
5. Experience with data analysis and feedback collection methods
