IT Architect, Czech based

We are looking for an experienced IT Architect to join long-term enterprise IT initiatives for a major public-sector organization in the Czech Republic. The role focuses on enterprise architecture design, integration strategy, modern architectural patterns, and collaboration with development and infrastructure teams in a large-scale environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design and define enterprise and solution architecture for complex IT systems
• Define architectural standards and guidelines for microservices and distributed systems
• Design integration patterns (synchronous and asynchronous communication)
• Work with messaging systems such as Kafka, Service Bus, or similar
• Contribute to logical data model design and system data architecture
• Collaborate with development teams on architecture implementation
• Create and maintain architecture documentation using ArchiMate and Enterprise Architect
• Support containerization and orchestration strategies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
• Ensure architectural alignment with business and technical requirements
  
  Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an IT Architect within the last 5 years
• Strong knowledge of modern architectural approaches (microservices, event-driven architecture, DDD, CQRS)
• Proven experience with system integrations and messaging platforms
• Experience with containers and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes or similar)
• Experience designing logical data models
• Knowledge of ArchiMate modeling language
• Experience working with Enterprise Architect tool
• TOGAF certification (minimum Level 1)
• Strong analytical thinking and structured approach
• Ability to communicate effectively in Czech or Slovak at B2 level or higher
