Technical Consultant (VMware & PowerShell), EU based

We are looking for an experienced Technical Consultant (VMware & PowerShell) to support the development of API functions. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in VMware vSphere, PowerShell automation, and API development, demonstrates a hands-on and collaborative mindset, and thrives in complex enterprise infrastructure environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop APIs to automate the rebuild and reconfiguration of virtual machines running on VMware vSphere infrastructure.
• Develop and enhance API endpoints for template management, ensuring fast, secure, and resilient delivery for Windows and Linux template versions.
• Collaborate with Windows and Linux teams to test, refine, and update APIs based on feedback.
• Develop APIs for rebuilding VCS clusters, including endpoints that expose all required cluster-specific configurations.
• Develop APIs for rebuilding Oracle RAC clusters, supporting special virtual machine configurations and cluster requirements.
• Ensure all APIs meet resiliency, security, and performance standards required for enterprise environments.

Requirements:

• Strong experience managing VMware vSphere infrastructure.
• Expert-level scripting skills in PowerShell, with extensive use of PowerCLI modules.
• Solid knowledge of Windows Server environments, including IIS.
• Basic knowledge of .NET, sufficient to design and define new API endpoints.

Nice to have:

• Experience working in large-scale enterprise or logistics environments.
• Familiarity with high-availability and cluster-based architectures.
• Prior exposure to resiliency or disaster recovery projects.
