We are looking for a Tester (BPM / Process Platform) to join a banking project focused on testing workflow-driven systems and BPM processes across multiple business domains. The role is centered around end-to-end process testing, integration validation, and ensuring quality of complex orchestrations within a process platform. The ideal candidate has experience with BPM tools, strong analytical skills, and hands-on experience in API and integration testing.

Location: Prague, during onboarding 2 times/week onsite, after 1 time/week

Responsibilities:

  • Test BPM processes and workflow scenarios across banking systems.
  • Prepare test strategy and test analysis (happy path, exceptions, compensations), including test data.
  • Set up and manage test environments (instances, integrations, user roles, input/output conditions).
  • Perform end-to-end testing of BPM processes including integrations, state transitions, SLA/timers, and user tasks.
  • Execute regression, smoke, and system integration testing within QA.
  • Create and maintain test scenarios for API, integrations, and UI-based workflow tasks.
  • Analyze process execution results (audit trails, logs, instance history, SLA evaluation).
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and process owners on BPMN models and integrations.
  • Evaluate and propose test automation approaches for BPM processes (critical flows, regression, CI/CD readiness).


Requirements:

  • Experience with BPM (Business Process Management) and BPM lifecycle.
  • Hands-on experience with workflow engines such as Camunda, IBM BPM, Pega, Appian or similar.
  • Strong experience in manual testing of complex systems.
  • Experience with API and integration testing.
  • Working knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience with Jira.
  • Experience with REST tools such as Postman.
  • Experience with logs and monitoring tools (e.g., Kibana).
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.


Nice to Have:

  • Experience in banking environment.
