Solution Architect, hybrid in Bratislava

We are looking for a Solution Architect who will be responsible for designing complex end-to-end IT solutions within large-scale transformation projects. The role requires close cooperation with business stakeholders, development teams, and enterprise architects to ensure architectural consistency across systems and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solutions in line with architectural principles and company strategy
• Design and implement E2E customer migration solutions, including target architecture, migration waves, cutover planning, rollback scenarios, and impact analysis
• Translate business requirements into technical architecture and solution designs
• Create and maintain architectural documentation (HLD, LLD)
• Define integration scenarios and data flows between systems
• Cooperate with enterprise architects to align solutions with target architecture
• Evaluate technological options and select suitable solutions
• Drive architectural governance and decision-making throughout the project lifecycle
• Support development teams during implementation phases
• Identify and manage technical risks and dependencies
• Participate in architectural reviews and approval processes

Requirements

• At least 5 years of IT experience, including significant experience in a Solution Architect role
• Strong experience with enterprise-scale and complex transformation projects
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and integration architectures
• Experience with API architecture and integration design
• Practical experience with:
• REST/SOAP APIs
• OpenAPI
• JSON/XML
• MQ and middleware technologies
• SQL
• Ability to read Java code
• End-to-end architectural mindset with strong analytical thinking
• Experience with architectural frameworks and standards
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
