IT Technical Writer (Hybrid)

The Technical Writer to plays a pivotal role in crafting comprehensive documentation crucial to the success of our system requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong command of language, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to distill complex technical information into clear and concise documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Organize and structure content in adherence to established standards, ensuring clarity, conciseness, and consistency in style and terminology.
  2. Collaborate with colleagues and managers to gain insight into audience needs and technical requirements, facilitating the development of targeted documentation.
  3. Conduct thorough research to deepen understanding of products, services, and technologies to be documented.
  4. Determine the most effective presentation methods to enhance reader comprehension, and adeptly write and edit technical information accordingly. Actively solicit and address feedback from team members to continually improve documentation quality.
  5. Liaise with various departments to ensure that documentation aligns with system requirements and organizational objectives.
  6. Undertake additional responsibilities and tasks as required to support business needs.

Qualifications and Experience: 

  • Proven track record in technical writing, particularly in software documentation.  Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality documentation with meticulous attention to detail. 
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and presenting them in an understandable manner 
  • Exceptional written communication skills in English. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. 
  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, English, communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
