Role" DevSecOps Engineer
Salary: Open
Schedule: Mon-Fri, Day or Mid Shift
Set-up: Hybrid - 2 days on-site, 2 days WFH
Location: Alabang
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for defining and implementing the build, deployment, and monitoring standards for the customer
Work closely with other developers to enhance infrastructure, improve reliability, and efficiency
Identify, integrate, monitor, and improve infosec controls by understanding business processes.
Contribute to tool evaluation, selection, and recommendation internally and to clients.
A part of Agile development teams to deliver end-to-end automation of deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management in a cloud environment;
Create scripts and/or templates to automate and/or bootstrap infrastructure provisioning and management tasks;
Working closely with our development team to create an automated continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) system;
Be able to set up infrastructure environments, leveraging infrastructure as code approach;
Take true ownership of our infrastructure, networking, and security;
Assist with complex projects and ongoing support of security operations.
Develop new standards as necessary.
Core Qualifications and Education
Strong understanding of and experience with Docker and Kubernetes
1-2+ years experience on Terraform
3+ years experience with cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure;
3+ years experience with infrastructure as code frameworks like Terraform
Strong skills in Azure Cloud, Linux RedHat, Jenkins, and Cloud deployment with Helm, and Sonarqube are a plus
Security first mindset;
Experience with systems reliability, load balancing, monitoring, and logging;
Experience with fully automating CI/CD pipelines end-to-end, from code commits to production;
Develop, document, and implement CI/CD strategy for management of Infrastructure as Code IaC baseline;
Experience with Git, SQL, and NoSQL databases is a plus
Cloud Security Certifications are a plus.
Excellent knowledge of networking technologies, particularly with OSI network layers and TCP/IP;
Have effective verbal and non-verbal communication with peers and clients;
Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
