We are looking for General Ledger Accountant for our client located in Makati.

Salary: Up to 150K
Set-up: 100% Remote Full Time- Contractual (1yr Renewable)

The GL Accountant is responsible for assisting with the preparation of accounting, financial reporting and compliance activities

General Ledger Function:

  • Analyse all financial transactions, post general journals, and maintain general ledgers, in accordance with applicable accounting standards (e.g. revenues, expenses, payroll, fixed and intangible assets, intercompany transactions, etc.).
  • Prepare month-end financial reports, including but not limited to trial balance, revenue report, profit or loss fluctuation analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Assist with the preparation of tax submissions and other government.

  • Assist the management team and finance team in the interpretation and analysis of financial reports.
  • Communicating well within the team and making sure internal deadlines and
    reporting / planning expectations are met.
  • Support management by identifying improvement in simplifying workflow or process improvement.
  • Perform other tasks/ participate in special projects that may be assigned by
    the immediate supervisor and required by the business.

Other Core Tasks:

  • Update various cash flow forecasts, weekly, monthly and annually.
  • Assist the Finance team to complete the Budgeting and Forecast processes.
  • Create and update Financial Modelling in excel, Google Sheets as required.
  • Identify Enter Budgets and Forecasting into NetSuite.
  • Support Cash Flow management with reporting and commentary on Aged Receivables and Payables
  • Monitoring AR accountant and ensure all client invoices are sent in time.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education - Chartered Accountant qualified: CPA, ACCA or CIMA, or equivalent.
  • Work Experience - At least 4 years' experience in Finance and Accounting/Tax with excellent technical ability with Australian Tax experience.
  • Technical - Proficient in Excel and ERP software
  • Client - Strong communication skills and ability to build trusted relationships.

  • Ideally with international Client Background
  • XERO Experience of at least 2 years
