Responsibilities:
Overall: The Loan Solutions Manager will be responsible for product and business development for partners who are seeking to provide vehicle loans to their end clients. This will include vehicle dealers, as well as Fintech who work with Vehicles.
The partners often already have lending programs defined, so this position will need to work with these partners to provide an embedded finance solution, as well as new partners who don't have a lending program (so are closer to a Point of Sale finance solution).
The steps in product development will be:
- Definition of product design to collaborate with existing partners / use POS finance
- Definition of risk sharing processes
- Definition of process design (document sharing, etc.)
- Legal and contractual work
- Product definition (term, tenor, etc.)
The steps in partner development will be:
- Understand the product that bank can provide to partners.
- Listen carefully to the needs of clients
- Describe the solution and work with the clients as they develop the solution.
- Explain the regulation, the options, the financial implications.
- Provide advisory services to potential clients, to accelerate the on-boarding process and prove our culture of relentless implementation
- Support clients through implementation. Work closely with the clients to on-board them.
- The steps in partner optimization will be:
- Identify product enhancements which ensure we meet the full needs of our clients around lending products.
- Identify additional products to sell to the existing end clients, such as additional loans, accounts, QR payments,
etc. - Identify how we can support the internal processes of the clients, such as by implementing collection accounts,
etc.
As with all solutions providers, the position holder will need to:
- Deeply understand client needs for the proposed services and identify ways that bank can provide a product significantly better than the competition
Implement the product to achieve this differentiation, including ensuring the technical system capabilities can meet client requirement - Managing a highly professional sales and on-boarding process, which responds at the speed that Fintech demand, keeps partners fully informed through the implementation process.
- Identify additional services which clients need and propose these to clients.
- Identify product gaps and identify technical partnerships and technology solutions that allow us to offer these services.
