Credit Review Officer - up to 50k - Makati

We are looking for a Credit Review Officer for our local bank client in Makati

Set-up: Onsite
Location: Makati
Salary: 35k to 50k

Responsible for independently evaluating the credit quality and credit process of the bank, identifying unnecessary credit risk in the loan portfolios, confirming the effectiveness of loan grading, and effectively communicating findings to the management at the same time providing a force for positive change in the bank.

Specific Functions:

•  Conduct credit review and identify gaps in underwriting, approval, monitoring,  relationship management, and credit administration activities of  the commercial loan portfolio
• Validate credit/financial information to verify the creditworthiness, of the borrower/guarantors and the validity of the loan/credit relationship
• Validate selected loan and collateral documentation for adequacy and adherence to loan policy
• Responsible for the preparation of periodic Risk Assessments to validate or revise the risk-based ranking
• Assist in the development, implementation, and oversight of ongoing risk-based credit review
• Identify existing and/or emerging issues relating to credit quality and risk
• Identify portfolio concentrations
• Communicate with loan officers, underwriters, credit admin, and other management logically and positively providing helpful feedback based on the result of the credit review
• Owning and managing follow-up items resulting from the review and reporting the resolutions of those items in the review
• Conduct stress-test and recommend policy enhancements based on the result of the credit review

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

• Education: College Degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or any related courses
• Minimum of 2 years of loan review, commercial lending, commercial loan underwriting, and/or commercial loan portfolio management experience
• Computer literacy; proficient in MS Office suites
