Regulatory Compliance Analyst - Chemical (US/Canada) | Up to 40K Salary

Job Description:

• Assist in monitoring & tracking relevant environmental, health, and safety (EHS), chemicals, food, cosmetics, and sustainability regulatory developments and issues in the U.S. and Canada.
• Ensure currency of regulatory lists in databases for the above jurisdictions is ongoing (including providing the relevant source documents when there are any amendments/changes affecting the databases)
• Research and prepare materials for new relevant regulations.
• Regularly review content to ensure it is current.
• Work with regulatory research team, and potential other teams (cross-departmental collaboration).
• Write a preliminary draft for regulatory news analysis
• Maintain necessary subscriptions to legislative resources (leveraging and utilizing technology)

Qualifications:

• B.A. / B.S Degree
• Chemicals regulations experience (required)
• Exposure to US/ Canada regulations (preferred)
• Global chemicals regulations (e.g. EU REACH/ CLP, or any country GHS regulations and/or chemical inventory/ registration) (a plus)
• Chemical product compliance experience (preferred)
• Legal research and analysis enthusiast
• Proficient in Excel / Microsoft Office
• Strong reading comprehension and analytical skills
• Fluent in English (Verbal and written)
