JOB SUMMARY:

As the Training Officer you will be responsible for the companys training workload and journey. Your role will be to evaluate and support the companys training needs in conjunction with the senior management team. This role reports to the Director of Account Operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitate the learning process by creating a positive and interactive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with department heads and managers to identify training needs and develop targeted programs.
  • Deliver training sessions using a variety of instructional methods, such as lectures, group discussions, and simulations.
  • Assess organizational training needs and identify areas for improvement through thorough analysis.
  • Create overview reports for senior management showing training needs, solutions, and workloads deployed.
  • Coordinating and overviewing technical skills training with technical specialists.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs to ensure they meet desired outcomes and contribute to employee development.
  • Regularly update training materials and methodology to improve effectiveness.
  • Administer assessments to assess comprehension levels and monitor progress effectively.
  • Drive and/or assist in the implementation of a Learning Management System (LMS) tailored to client training needs.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to identify requirements, select appropriate LMS platform, and customize functionalities to align with organizational goals.
  • Provide training and support to employees on utilizing the LMS effectively for accessing training materials, tracking progress, and completing assessments.
  • Undertake any other tasks deemed relevant by senior management.

Examples of Training topics:

  • Client Corporate Orientation: Develop a comprehensive introduction to the company, what we do, our operations, integration and audit processes, igaming, organizational chart, etc.
  • Business and Compliance: Develop training materials covering the core topics essential for compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Soft Skills: Create training materials focusing on essential soft skills such as, communicating effectively, conducting productive meetings, writing business letters, etc.
  • Legal Topics: Anticipate and prepare training content for potential compliance
  • topics such as Anti-Money Laundering (AMLA) and Data Privacy.
  • Technical skills: Profiling, Auditing, Reporting and Data Analyses, Excel,
  • PowerPoint, Prioritization, Time Management, etc.
  • Management skills: Managing conflict, driving results through 121s, problem
  • solving, strategic and critical thinking, etc.
  • Personal skills: Assertiveness Training, Emotional Intelligence, Stress
  • Management, etc.

JOB COMPETENCIES / SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience of at least four (4) years as a Trainer or Training Coordinator in a corporate setting.
  • Proven ability to deliver training sessions in a dynamic and engaging manner.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to create engaging and interactive training content.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) implementation and administration is a plus.
  • Online and land-based gambling experience is highly desirable.
  • Certification in training and development is desirable.
