Role: Network and Infrastructure Unit Head

Salary: Up to 170k

Job Description:

The Network and Infrastructure Unit Head will lead, manage, coach and mentor the company's network team and support every aspect of network systems and operations, including sub-systems. He/She will lead the design, implementation, and management of network infrastructure and its components. He/She will also lead the strategic planning for medium and long-term timelines based on the company's objectives to keep it aligned with new developments in the space. Together with his/he team, he/she will administer firewalls, security and internal network policies, and manage significant site moves if any. The Network and Infrastructure Unit Head will also scale the network operations management practice to serve not only the needs of the bank, but also establish best-in- class services aimed at its customers and partners (e.g., health facilities).


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support initiatives that improves total network performance, cost and quality. 
  • Develop and implement standards and processes for NOC. 
  • Lead in resolving elevated and complex complaints. 
  • Support validation, deployment, and optimization of network nodes. 
  • Develop, mentor and coach network talents. 
  • Ensure infrastructure technology recoverability in support of business processes. 
  • Lead firewall and IDS/IPS system evaluation, design and implementation. 
  • Provide recommendations based on monitoring results and forensics
    Grow the practice within the group. 

Qualifications:

  • Requires a Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information
  • Technology or other related field. 
  • At least 8 years of work experience involving VPN, cloud implementation, and routing protocols.
  • At least 8 years of work experience involving IPSEC, DHCP, HSRP, BGP, OSPF QoS, RFP/RFI software and systems. 
  • Solid understanding of OSI or TCP/IP model
  • Proven ability to thoroughly document protocols and configurations. 
  • Certifications such as CINP and CISSP certifications are highly desired and valued.
