POSITION/ROLE SUMMARY

We are keen to hire a Managing Director (MD) for their Consulting Practice, who will be responsible for driving the scale, performance, delivery excellence, and increasing growth /commercial performance of the technology practice. We provide solutions focused on Packaged Software Solutions, Digital, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, and emerging technologies.

Their key technology capabilities/offerings include:

Technology Strategy
Cloud

Cybersecurity, Privacy and Forensics

Data & Analytics

Emerging Technologies

Business Applications which include Guidewire, AWS, Microsoft, Oracle, SAP

The objective is to bring on board a leader with a strong technology background who will be in charge of executing the SDC tech consulting strategy and building newer digital capabilities and assets leveraging the practice. The leader will be responsible for attracting and identifying talent, and building and scaling the technology practice.

This person will be a change leader and will drive top deployment optimization and skill development for staff in technology competencies.

REPORTING

The position will report to the Acceleration Center Consulting Leader (Partner), with a dotted line to the General Manager of Acceleration Center Manila.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The MD will lead the strategy and execution for the technology practice based out of Manila. S/he will be responsible for managing the relationships with other MDs for the Acceleration Centre's growth, strategic agenda, client projects, staff engagement, and capacity planning/management.

S/he will build a culture of continuous improvement and will work closely with the business leaders and executive leadership team.

Responsibilities will include:

Growth & Strategic Leadership
S/He will conceptualize & implement growth strategies for the practice in alignment with the overall organization goals to ensure market expansion and profitable growth.

Build, grow, and nurture client relationships by advising them on their digital transformation agenda.

Engineer solutions and services into the fabric of clients' businesses,

Implement processes, systems and metrics, and organizational changes, to enhance the productivity, performance, and capabilities of the organization to foster overall growth of the practice.

Work with the broader business to develop and nurture new capabilities, products, and services to meet the demands of a broadening portfolio of offerings.

Commercial Management
Be accountable for key commercial metrics that define success in a highly competitive and dynamic market environment.

Accountable for business growth and achievement of overall metrics - market penetration, retention, customer satisfaction, workforce dashboards, employee engagement, etc.

Manage risk by anticipating future customer opportunities/issues, industry, and technology trends, and developing strategies and capabilities based on risk management plans.

Apply a disciplined approach to drive delivery and operational excellence, quality, and project delivery.

Solution / Delivery Management

Drive a best-in-class delivery environment and ensure that all programs being managed and delivered on time, within budget, and profitably.

Leverage resources across the organization to ensure the most effective deployment of skills, maximum achievement of revenue, and improved customer satisfaction.

Collaborate with Bangalore Acceleration Centre leaders to manage forecast vs. actual performance.

Support the innovation agenda of AC Manila through the tangible execution of solutions.

Build and position a world-class capability that will drive market-leading differentiation.

People Leadership

Encourage and support the continued development of all talent, ensuring plans are properly devised and implemented to ensure high levels of employee engagement across levels.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:


Education Background


Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent degree or any related discipline from a top university

Essential Requirements & Experience


A seasoned Technology leader with experience in managing
Offshore Technology Delivery Practice for a Technology/Big 4/ Captives/IT services firm; along with experience in leading large diverse teams spread across multiple Lines of Technology competencies.
Proven track record of building and growing high performing businesses with experience in creating technology roadmaps, providing technology solutions
across multiple verticals/ functions, delivery management, transformation etc.
Deep understanding of offshore delivery setup with prior experience in managing a large-scale high-growth services business
Experience in building and sustaining high-performing teams proven ability to build a team that works in concert across organizational lines and partners to bring integrated solutions to clients.
Proven experience in ensuring that a company's operational and financial targets are met along with a hyper growth agenda.
Must have roof points in being able to manage and navigate through multi-regional systems locally, regionally, and globally solid experience to work in a matrix environment would be an asset.
Must have demonstrated visibility and credibility in the industry, with an impeccable reputation.
Must have acted as a key face of the organization for the external world for the tech practice, representing an organization in various external forums, and be able to position the organization as a thought leader in the chosen
areas of focus.
