The Opportunity

The Head of Auditing is responsible for leading and managing the audit function for a company that audits external 3rd party companies. The role includes developing and implementing audit plans, conducting audits, and reporting on audit findings.

The Head of Auditing must have a strong understanding of auditing principles and practices, as well as the ability to manage and motivate a team.

The Responsibilities
- Develop and implement audit plans that align with the organization's business plans and core objectives.
- Manage and motivate the audit team while ensuring that all duties are effectively managed to achieve the desired outcomes.
- Perform transaction-based audits on external third-party firms, ensuring that the organization thoroughly evaluates their financial statements, operations, and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Monitor 3rd party data and identify investigate and flag variances.
- Identify and report on risks and control weaknesses.
- Work closely with the IT team to coordinate the auditing of websites, products, systems and technical setup of 3rd party companies.
- Develop and suggest corrective action plans to 3rd parties and government bodies.
- Represent auditing function and company within meetings with 3rd party companies and
government bodies.
- Stay up-to-date on auditing standards and best practices
- Any other relevant task as assigned by management.


Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Auditing, or a related field
CPA or equivalent certification.
8+ years of experience in auditing external companies
Strong understanding of auditing principles and practices
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage and motivate a team
Experience in the online gaming industry is not necessary but is highly advantageous
Competent and confident in written and spoken English and Tagalog.
