General Accountant - up to 32k - Makati

We are looking for a General Accountant for our client in Makati

Role: General Accountant

Salary: up to 32k
Set-up: Onsite in Makati
Schedule: Mon-Fri, Dayshift

Job Description:

1. Ensure completeness of data entries in the General ledger

2. Record daily transactions in the GL system accurately and timely.

3. Post-month-end journal entries in the system within the deadline

4. Maintains the schedule of each account for proper and timely monitoring

5. Prepare monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts

6. Assist with preparing tax returns and bank reporting requirements for BSP and external audit

7. Coordinate with requesting units for any accounting-related concern

Qualifications:

· Accounting graduate with at least one year of experience

· Experience in Temenos (T24) as a core banking system a plus

· Ability to analyze data and produce reports and required schedules according to requirements and deadline

· Proficient in MS Office especially Excel and accounting software (e.g. Noah)

· Fast learner, detail-oriented, critical thinker, and able to work independently with minimum supervision

· Related experience with general accounting and accounts reconciliation in banking industry preferred

· Self-directed and can start immediately
