Project

We are seeking a Business Analyst/App Contexter with strong client-facing skills and autonomy to analyse application landscapes, support migration planning and contribute to cloud-focused architecture work.

Role

• Work with client application owners to understand the application, application components inventory, identify all tightly-coupled applications, determine migration order for each application, and gather all non-auto-discoverable data that is required to migrate/transform each application
• Contribute to any application architecture deliverables
• Broad understanding of application architectures and application infrastructure, infrastructure architectures
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other modern cloud platforms and frameworks
• Assess impact of application migration
• Strong client-facing communication skills
• Self-starter, able to set their own direction and to succeed in an ambiguous environment

We are looking for

• Ability to analyze applications and infrastructure for both application and server consolidation
• Must be able to interact with client application subject matter experts
• Minimum of 5 years work experience in IT
• Software Development experience is required (Web Development, eCommerce applications, Java, J2EE, or .Net)
• Broad IT knowledge is required
• Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile or iterative methodologies required
• AWS or Azure or Google Cloud certified
• Work closely with multiple teams across geographies for continuous improvements, innovate and own initiatives and ensure those are adopted and rolled out successfully
• Experience with Source control tools - GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, ADO
• Experience with JIRA issue tracking tool
