Role

• Administration of the Backup Service, which includes managing the Veritas NetBackup product (versions 8, 9, and 10), OpsCenter, IT Analytics, SAN Switches, Windows and Linux operating systems, IBM and Quantum robots, and DataDomain VTLs;
• Installation, maintenance, upgrades, updates, debugging, and troubleshooting issues and failures;
• Providing customer support and resolving client service requests;
• Reporting, capacity management, automation, scripting, and other activities related to service maintenance.

We are looking for

• Knowledge of backup technologies Veritas NetBackup (v8, v9, and v10);
• Knowledge of IBM and Quantum robots and DataDomain VTLs;
• Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• NICE TO HAVE:
  Certifications in relevant Backups technologies;
  Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems;
  Experience with scripting (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python).
