Project

We are looking for an experienced Senior Oracle Developer with strong expertise in PL/SQL and Oracle Database technologies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering complex Oracle-based solutions and experience within the financial services sector, particularly in fund management systems.

Role

• Administer, configure, and maintain Oracle databases ensuring high availability, performance, and security
• Monitor and optimize database performance (tuning, capacity planning, indexing, etc.)
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and recoverability (backup, restore, and disaster recovery)
• Manage users, roles, privileges, and security policies
• Implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies (RMAN, Data Guard, etc.)
• Automate administrative and maintenance tasks using scripting (Shell, PL/SQL)
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize queries and support application deployments
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents in production environments
• Ensure compliance with Oracle best practices, standards, and data governance
• Participate in database implementation and migration projects

We are looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience as an Oracle DBA
• Proven experience in at least 3 Oracle implementation/migration projects
• Strong expertise in:
  • Oracle Database Administration (installation, configuration, patching)
  • Performance tuning and query optimization
  • Backup & Recovery (RMAN)
  • High availability solutions (RAC, Data Guard)
  Experience working in critical environments, ideally within fund management or financial services
• Knowledge of scripting (Shell, Python, or PL/SQL) for automation
• Oracle Database Foundations Associate or Oracle Certified Associate (OCA)
• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Database Expert certification
