Physical Therapist – Outpatient Orthopedic Clinic | Southern California

We are partnering with one of Southern California's most established and respected orthopedic groups — operating across 11 clinic locations throughout the region — to find a skilled and motivated Physical Therapist (PT) to join their growing rehabilitation team. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity within a high-caliber orthopedic setting, ideal for a clinician who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, and clinically excellent environment.

Position Details

  • Setting: Outpatient Orthopedic / Multi-Site Specialty Group
  • Patient Population: Orthopedic / Post-Surgical / Adult
  • Schedule: Full-Time | Permanent
  • Location: Southern California (specific location TBD based on candidate preference and clinic need)
  • Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience
  • Start Date: ASAP

About the Role

You will evaluate and treat patients across a broad range of orthopedic conditions including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, spine, and joint replacement. Working within a highly regarded orthopedic group, you'll benefit from close collaboration with orthopedic surgeons and a multidisciplinary clinical team, giving you access to complex cases and significant professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop individualized orthopedic rehabilitation plans
  • Provide skilled therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional rehabilitation
  • Collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons, physicians, and clinical staff across the practice
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with facility standards
  • Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) as applicable
  • Participate in discharge planning and patient education
  • Uphold high standards of patient care and safety across all interactions

Requirements

  • Current California PT license in good standing — required
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT preferred)
  • Orthopedic experience preferred; strong interest in orthopedics required
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and clinical documentation skills
  • Team-oriented, professional, and patient-focused
