Compensation & Work Structure
- Pay Range: $25.00 – $40.00 per hour (DOE)
- Flexible engagement: Full-time, Part-time.
Schedule & Work Environment
- Clinic Hours: Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Closed: Friday – Sunday
- Flexible shift options (8, 10, or 12 hours)
- In-person, outpatient specialty setting
The Role
As a Pelvic Health PTA, you will play a vital role in supporting patients through deeply personal and often life-changing care journeys. You will work closely with a Physical Therapist to deliver individualized, hands-on treatment plans addressing conditions such as:
- Pregnancy and postpartum recovery
- Pelvic pain and dysfunction
- Bladder and bowel impairments
- Sexual health concerns
This position requires both clinical skill and emotional intelligence, as you will be working in a sensitive and trust-based care environment.
What You'll Do
- Execute customized treatment plans under PT supervision
- Provide hands-on pelvic floor therapy for male and female patients
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and education
- Utilize specialized modalities (biofeedback, e-stim, ultrasound, etc.)
- Support patients across the full continuum of pelvic health care
- Maintain high standards of documentation and compliance
What We're Looking For
- Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Texas
- Foundational knowledge or exposure to pelvic floor therapy
- Comfort with direct, hands-on pelvic treatment in a clinical setting
- Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered mindset
- Desire to learn, grow, and specialize within this field
Preferred Background
- Pelvic Floor Level 1 training (APTA or Herman & Wallace)
- 1+ year of experience in women's health or pelvic rehab
- Multilingual abilities (Spanish or other languages are a plus)
