Associate Attorney - General Liability/Professional Liability

Well&Nest LLC has partnered with a mid-size litigation law firm. They seek an Associate Attorney - General Liability/Professional Liability for their San Francisco office.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in determining a proper solution to legal conflicts and determine the best course of action
• Attend court hearings or other legal proceedings, perform legal research, and work with senior attorneys to provide legal advice
• Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings
• Communicate with partners, associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently
• Keep files organized to make sure the most recent updates are accessible to other attorneys, paralegals, and staff

Qualifications

• Experience in representing both design professionals and miscellaneous professionals
• Significant experience in discovery and law and motion practice
• Must have excellent writing and oral advocacy skills
• Effective communication skills and problem-solving skills are necessary to work with all levels of staff and clients
• Ability to work with partners and other attorneys to best serve client needs and grow our client base
• Member in good standing and actively involved with the ABA (American Bar Association)
• Successful completion of the bar exam
• Completion of a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school

Hybrid Schedule: 3 days in the office (San Diego), 2 days working from home

Competitive Salary Range: $150,000.00 To 190,000.00 Annually plus bonus
