Employment Litigation Attorney

Well&Nest LLC has partnered with a mid-size Litigation firm that services the legal needs of companies throughout California. They seek an experienced Employment Litigation Attorney to join their San Diego office.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategies
• Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings
• Advise clients by weighing available options toward a successful outcome and plan a course of action
• Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions
• Draft correspondence, legal pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Communicate with partners, associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of employment litigation experience.
• Prior experience working in a law firm for a minimum of 2+ years is required
• Wage and hour experience in both class action and PAGA
• Experience managing and analyzing records to assess compliance issues on a representative basis
• Significant experience in discovery and law and motion practice.
• Excellent writing and oral advocacy skills
• Communication, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and public speaking skills required
• Jobseekers should be a member of their local bar association - active member preferred Association
• Work independently while handling a heavy caseload
• Computer skills working with iManage and Coyote Analytics preferred

Hybrid Schedule: 3 days in the office (San Diego), 2 days working from home

Competitive Salary Range: $130,000.00 To 170,000.00 Annually annually plus bonus
