We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. You will respond to queries, run diagnostic programs, isolate problems, and implement solutions to ensure that our users' computing environments are running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktop, laptop, and peripheral issues.

Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software applications.

Respond to support tickets and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

Assist with network connectivity problems and ensure proper network configurations.

Perform regular system updates and maintenance tasks.

Document and track issues and resolutions in a ticketing system.

Educate users on best practices and preventive measures for computer use.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a desktop support or technical support role.

Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac OS operating systems.

Familiarity with network protocols, configurations, and troubleshooting.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
