About the job SITE SUPERVISOR – ANAEROBIC DIGESTION / RENEWABLE ENERGY

A Site Supervisor is needed to join a growing renewable energy business operating a modern anaerobic digestion facility near Shrewsbury. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in waste management, industrial operations, utilities or process environments who enjoys taking ownership of a busy operational site.

.

Working at the heart of the operation, you'll help ensure the safe, efficient running of the plant, coordinating daily site activities while maintaining high standards of safety, compliance and housekeeping. This is a practical supervisory role rather than a desk based management position, ideal for someone who enjoys being visible on site and solving problems as they arise.

.

You'll oversee the day to day operation of the facility, coordinating feedstock deliveries, liaising with suppliers and contractors, monitoring site activities and ensuring everything runs smoothly. You'll work closely with plant operators, helping to prioritise workloads, maintain operational standards and ensure environmental and health and safety procedures are followed at all times.

.

You'll also support routine inspections, maintain accurate operational records, coordinate maintenance activities, monitor stock levels and ensure the site remains audit ready. This is a varied role where no two days are quite the same, requiring someone who can stay organised, communicate confidently and keep operations moving efficiently.

.

Key Requirements: You should be a Site Supervisor, Operations Supervisor, Waste Operations Supervisor, Plant Supervisor or similar with a CV that demonstrates...

  • Confidence coordinating deliveries, contractors and day to day site activities
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work and respond to operational issues
  • Experience maintaining operational records, inspections and compliance documentation
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to work independently and liaise with multiple stakeholders
  • A practical, hands on approach with the ability to support operational teams where required

.

Experience working within anaerobic digestion, wastewater treatment or renewable energy would be advantageous, although candidates from similar process industries will also be considered.

.

In return, you'll join a stable and growing business operating within one of the UK's most important renewable energy sectors. Expect a competitive salary of £40,000 to £45,000, long term career prospects and the opportunity to take ownership of a key operational site where your experience will have a genuine day to day impact.
