Chief Technology Officer (iGaming)

Location: Hybrid

Salary: £130K -£160K

CTI is seeking to appoint a CTO for an upcoming iGaming provider.

Responsibilities:

- Formulate and execute the technology strategy to ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
- Partner with the CEO and senior leadership to establish the technical roadmap and prioritise projects according to business goals.
- Lead the technical vision, encompassing architecture, design, and the execution of features.
- Assemble and oversee a compact technical team in Lisbon while collaborating with external agencies and development teams throughout Europe.
- Demonstrate substantial technical expertise within the poker and casino sector.
- Exhibit strong leadership, communication, and organisational capabilities.
- Liaise with external vendors and technical leaders to effectively manage project activities and resources.
- Oversee project execution from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of technical initiatives.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the technical team and across projects.

Requirements:

- 12+ years experience in leadership positions within the technology sector.
- Proven track record in a dynamic start-up environment, complemented by experience at the enterprise level.
- Responsible for the design, development, and implementation of cryptocurrency-based iGaming products, including Poker and Casino, across web and mobile platforms utilising blockchain technology.
- A strong background in the gaming industry is crucial.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, enabling professional interactions with stakeholders.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing technology projects from conception to deployment.
- Skilled in fostering collaboration among cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
- Adept at navigating the complexities of the gaming sector and regulatory requirements.
- Committed to staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Proven ability to lead teams in delivering innovative solutions that enhance user experience.
