Head of Engineering

Role: Head of Engineering (UI/UX)

Location: London/Hybrid

Salary: £120K-£150K

Essential: Recent Banking/Fintech experience

CTI is searching for an experienced Head of Engineering for is a global Fintech firm that manages an e-trading platform for credit markets, and also offers market data and post-trade services.

Competencies:

- 12+ years' experience in software engineering, with strong hands-on UI/UX, cloud platforms and leadership

- Experience leading global agile cross-functional teams

- Experience in the E-trading and financial services sectors

- Shaping product strategy at senior management levels

- A portfolio with user-centered design solutions

- Influence product direction through design leadership

- Commitment to building practices and communities

- Tech experience: React, Typescript, Cypress, Node, GraphQL, Kafka, Mongo Atlas

- Cloud ecosystem and native architecture (AWS/Azure)

- Desktop interoperability i.e OpenFin ior Interop.io

- Experience with KPIs and OKRs

- A STEM degree
