The Role
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide PRN care for an extended care patient with trach, vent, and G-tube needs. You will be working in the patient's home, ensuring their safety, comfort, and medical stability as needed.
What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering specialized care for a patient with trach, vent, and G-tube
- Monitoring the patient's respiratory and nutritional health during your shifts
- Administering medications and tube feedings
- Performing routine assessments, interventions, and adjustments as necessary
- Communicating with the care team and maintaining accurate patient records
- Developing strong, supportive relationships with the patient and their family
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Current Colorado LPN or RN license
- Experience with trach, vent, and G-tube care preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a home care setting
- A compassionate, patient-focused approach to nursing
