Wavemaker Impact (WMi) is a dedicated sustainability fund within Wavemaker Partners. WMi co-founds sustainability focused businesses in Southeast Asia with proven entrepreneurs. Our goal is to reduce 10% of the global carbon budget by launching new high growth startups in the region.

If so, Wavemaker Impact, the first climate-tech Venture Builder VC in Southeast Asia is looking for an intern to join us as a Venture Talent Analyst for an exciting 3-6 month adventure.

This short-term opportunity is perfect for someone looking to make meaningful impact, work with an innovative venture team, and sharpen their skills in talent management, market research, and systems organization.

What You'll Do:

As our Venture Talent Analyst Intern, you'll be diving into the heart of the startup ecosystem in Southeast Asia. Here's what we'd need your expertise with:

• Organize our Talent CRM: Help us keep track of the amazing people in our network! You'll clean up and structure our talent database, so we can easily connect with the right individuals when building new companies.
• Create a Market Map: Research and identify the coolest startups and talent across Southeast Asia. You'll help us create a map of the regions brightest minds and most promising companies, so we know who to connect with and where the future talent is.
• Master Database Creation: Work with the team to create a streamlined database of key recruitment processes. This will include documentation of best practices, candidate pipelines, and the creation of templates to standardize hiring and onboarding procedures for the team.

• You love organizing, whether it's data or processes, and you're always looking for ways to make things more efficient.
• You're passionate about startups, sustainability, and making a real impact on the planet.
• You have a curious mind, and you enjoy discovering and mapping out interesting people and companies.
• You're a fast learner, comfortable with technology, and maybe even a bit of a spreadsheet wizard.
• You don't like being micromanaged. You are someone who enjoys taking ownership of projects and finding creative solutions that go against the grain.
