The Clinical Supply Manager will play a critical role in the planning, execution, and management of clinical trial supplies specific to cell and gene therapy products. This position requires a deep understanding of the unique challenges associated with the supply chain for advanced therapies, including the handling of biologics, cold chain logistics, and regulatory compliance.
Main Responsibilities
- Define trial design based on clinical supply functions
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (including the clinical operations team) to forecast supply needs based on trial design and patient enrolment projections.
- Provide internal functions (Logistics, Planning, GMP Operations) with information particular to the trial
- Identify, evaluate, and select vendors for clinical trial materials including IMPs (investigational medicinal products) and packaging services.
- Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans to ensure trial design is followed across functions
Profile
- Relevant experience within clinical trial/supply management or project management
- University Education within pharmacy, chemistry or supply chain management (ideally within Clinical Development, Clinical Operations or Clinical Supply)
- Strong understanding of GCP/GMP regulations
- Strong analytical skills for assessing data related to supply chain performance metrics
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to collaborate effectively across various departments.
