As an In-House Counsel, you will provide comprehensive legal support to our pharmaceutical operations, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations while facilitating business objectives. You will work closely with various departments, including R&D, regulatory affairs, marketing, and sales, to navigate complex legal issues in the pharmaceutical industry.

Main Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on a wide range of pharmaceutical matters, including drug development, clinical trials, regulatory compliance, intellectual property rights, and commercial transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to research agreements, licensing agreements, vendor contracts, and other commercial arrangements.
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and other relevant laws governing the pharmaceutical industry.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies that align legal considerations with business goals.
- Monitor changes in legislation and regulations affecting the pharmaceutical sector and advise management on potential impacts.
- Conduct training sessions for employees on compliance issues related to pharmaceutical laws and regulations.
- Manage relationships with external counsel as needed for specialized legal matters.
- Support the company's efforts in protecting its intellectual property portfolio through patent applications and litigation strategies.
Profile
- Law Degree from an accredited law school
- 5+ years of experience as a practicing attorney in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
- Experience working in-house at a pharmaceutical company or within a law firm specializing in healthcare law is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of FDA regulations and compliance requirements for pharmaceuticals.
- Proven experience drafting and negotiating complex contracts.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders.
