About the job IoT Support Technician
We are looking for a technically skilled and service-focused IoT Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting, troubleshooting, and maintaining Internet of Things (IoT) devices and systems.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support for IoT devices, networks, and related hardware

Monitor system performance and conduct diagnostics

Assist with installations, configurations, and firmware updates

Troubleshoot connectivity and device-level issues

Document support tasks and escalate complex issues as needed

Collaborate with engineering and IT teams for system improvements
Requirements:

Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate

A relevant qualification from a South African TVET college or university (e.g. IT, Networking, Electronics, or related field)

Understanding of IoT technologies, protocols, and networks

Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, cellular)

Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
