IoT Support Technician

We are looking for a technically skilled and service-focused IoT Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting, troubleshooting, and maintaining Internet of Things (IoT) devices and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for IoT devices, networks, and related hardware

• Monitor system performance and conduct diagnostics

• Assist with installations, configurations, and firmware updates

• Troubleshoot connectivity and device-level issues

• Document support tasks and escalate complex issues as needed

• Collaborate with engineering and IT teams for system improvements

Requirements:

• Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate

• A relevant qualification from a South African TVET college or university (e.g. IT, Networking, Electronics, or related field)

• Understanding of IoT technologies, protocols, and networks

• Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, cellular)

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
