About the Role:
We are looking for a professional and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our company. The successful candidate will be responsible for welcoming visitors, handling calls, and performing various administrative duties to ensure smooth front-office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate departments.
- Manage the reception area, ensuring it remains tidy and presentable.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and deliveries.
- Schedule appointments and manage meeting room bookings.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document management.
- Provide general support to staff and clients as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements (South Africa):
- Minimum: Matric/Grade 12 Certificate.
- Preferred: Certificate or Diploma in Office Administration, Business Administration, or Receptionist Training (e.g., from TVET Colleges like False Bay, Tshwane South, or Boland College).
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle a busy front desk.
