Are you passionate about technology and problem-solving? We are looking for an IT Helpdesk Technician to provide technical support and ensure smooth IT operations within our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line technical support to employees via phone, email, and in person.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Assist with setting up user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT support when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of issues and solutions in the ticketing system.
  • Ensure security protocols and best practices are followed.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an IT support or helpdesk role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Familiarity with networking, Active Directory, and Office 365.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications (South Africa):

  • Matric (Grade 12) Essential
  • IT-related diploma or degree (e.g., Information Technology, Computer Science) Advantageous
  • A+, N+ Certification Preferred
  • Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (MD-100, MD-101) Advantageous
  • CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) Beneficial for networking roles
