About the job IT Support Technician (L1 & L2)
We are seeking a skilled IT Support Technician (L1 & L2) to join our dynamic team. This role will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and resolving a variety of IT-related issues for our employees and clients.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1st and 2nd level technical support (L1 & L2) to staff and clients

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues

Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment (desktops, laptops, printers, etc.)

Assist with system upgrades, software installations, and configurations

Respond to helpdesk tickets and escalate issues as necessary
-
Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure and networks to ensure optimal performance

Provide support for cloud-based platforms and applications
-
Document technical issues and resolutions for future reference
Requirements:
-
Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate

A relevant qualification from a South African TVET college or university in IT or a related field (e.g. National Diploma in Information Technology)

Minimum of 12 years experience in IT support (L1 & L2)

Strong understanding of networking, troubleshooting, and system maintenance

Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems, and common business software

Familiarity with cloud services (e.g. Microsoft 365, Google Workspace)

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
