About the job HR Officer
We are looking for a proactive and experienced HR Officer to support our growing team. The successful candidate will handle core HR functions and contribute to building a strong, compliant, and positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage recruitment, onboarding, and employee exits

Maintain and update employee records and HR systems

Support employee relations, disciplinary processes, and grievance handling

Assist with performance management and staff development

Coordinate training, wellness, and employee engagement programmes

Ensure compliance with South African labour laws and HR policies

Provide HR advice and day-to-day support to line managers and employees
Requirements:

Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate

A recognised HR qualification from a South African TVET college or university (e.g. National Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or Industrial Psychology)

13 years of experience in a generalist HR role

Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation

Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
-
Strong administrative skills and attention to detail

Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and HR systems
