We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to manage payroll processes, ensure accurate salary payments, and maintain compliance with payroll regulations. This role requires strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and a solid understanding of payroll procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
  • Maintain and update payroll records, including salaries, benefits, and deductions.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, UIF, PAYE, and other statutory requirements.
  • Prepare payroll reports and reconcile payroll discrepancies.
  • Handle employee payroll queries and provide support on salary-related matters.
  • Coordinate with HR and finance teams to ensure smooth payroll operations.
  • Process leave calculations, overtime payments, and bonuses.

Requirements:

  • Experience in payroll administration or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of South African labor laws and payroll regulations.
  • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., Sage, VIP Payroll, Pastel, or Payspace).
  • Strong numerical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with high accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Matric (Grade 12) Essential
  • Diploma or degree in Payroll, Finance, HR, or a related field Advantageous
  • Experience with SARS eFiling and payroll tax compliance
