The Role will remain Remote till COVID situation improves.
Summary of the role:
- You will be customer facing
- You will be a product and technical expert responsible for the design of solutions for our customers, ensuring consistency with product vision.
- You will be responsible for coordinating the solution design with the internal teams (R&D, Product Management) and the customer teams (business and R&D).
- You will have experience in the leading CRSs of the industry, is skilled at managing customers, understanding customer requirements from a business and a functional/technical perspective, balancing our need against customer demands, designing solutions, communicating and coordinating with internal teams.
In this role you’ll:
- Solution Design:
- Be accountable for the solution design.
- Drive scoping sessions with customers.
- Coordinate with all necessary teams to come up with the solution.
- Make sure all gaps have been identified, all dependency tracked.
- Make sure the solution is in line with our strategy while at the same time meets our customer needs.
- Make sure the solution is well communicated inside the R&D organization.
- Customer Relationship:
- Ensure a good relationship with our customers.
- Listen to their needs, manage their expectations.
- Set expectations to them as well.
- Provide expertise and guidance on the solution.
- Delivery:
- During the program, provide inputs for sizing and plan.
- Raise risks in a timely manner.
- Follow the deliveries to ensure solution is in line with our customer requirements.
- Handle Change Requests from our customers, understand the need, find workaround, propose solutions and coordinate sizing whenever required.
About the ideal candidate:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of experience in software development and/or business analysis. Master's degree in computer science is a plus.
- Relevant Work Experience:
- Work in the Hospitality Industry (CRS, PMS, OTAs, RMS...)
- Software developer, business analyst, QA, solution manager, pre-sales, project manager.
- Experience being customer facing
- Have a technical background and analytical skills
- Have worked on the connectivity/integration between systems
- Are experienced in designing and building systems
- Business Understanding:
- Understanding of the challenges of companies working in complex ecosystems.
- Understanding of Reservation Systems, Inventory Systems and Shopping Engine.
- Understanding of the Hospitality industry.
- Skills:
- Computing: General understanding of programming, APIs, SOA.
- Other:
- Detailed oriented, demonstrated discipline and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn and actively seek new skills and knowledge to keep up with the changing technology field.
- Ability to think outside the box, adapt to circumstances, learn from co-workers, and share information and experiences.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate in a positive and professional manner, both verbally and in writing

- Must be self-motivated, results oriented, and drive toward completing goals and projects on time
