Position Overview
The Senior Tax Attorney will provide advanced tax support for mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, and other complex transactions. The ideal candidate brings deep experience advising on entity formation, pass‑through taxation, and multistate tax matters, and thrives in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Advise on complex transactions including mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, and joint ventures
- Counsel clients on entity formation, pass‑through taxation, and multistate tax issues
- Work closely with corporate, real estate, estate planning, and litigation attorneys to deliver integrated legal solutions
- Conduct sophisticated tax research and provide strategic guidance on federal, state, and local tax matters
- Draft and review tax provisions in transactional documents
- Support clients across multiple industries with proactive tax planning and risk mitigation
- Contribute to the development of junior attorneys through mentorship and knowledge sharing
Qualifications
- 5+ years of tax law experience, ideally closer to 15
- JD required; LL.M. in Taxation strongly preferred
- CPA designation is a plus
- Demonstrated experience supporting complex transactions
- Strong analytical abilities and excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across practice groups and manage multiple priorities
