Operations Lead

 Job Description:

Our client, a fast-growing fintech startup, is seeking an Operations Lead to partner directly with the CEO and help scale the business across go-to-market, product, and internal operations. This is a high-ownership, strategic generalist role ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, loves building from zero to one, and consistently turns ideas into execution.

What You'll Do

  • Support sales efforts by preparing for and participating in conferences, customer meetings, and strategic calls.
  • Drive internal strategy, operational excellence, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Improve processes, systems, and workflows to enable rapid scaling and market expansion.
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and organizational development as the team grows.
  • Act as a problem-solver and execution engine unblocking challenges and delivering outcomes with urgency and precision.

What Were Looking For

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in operations, consulting, venture capital, or a similar strategic role.
  • Background in fintech, regtech, high-growth startups, or founders associate/chief of staff positions
  • Experience in customer-facing environments and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Curiosity and comfort with technology including using AI tools to automate and streamline workflows.
  • A proactive, resourceful operator who acts with ownership rather than waiting for direction.
