Social Work Manager

 Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Social Work Manager to lead the Social Work team and oversee the effectiveness of social services and behavioral health programs. This leadership role is accountable for ensuring high-quality delivery of care, compliance with standards, and collaboration across interdisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Manage Social Work Supervisors, Social Workers, Behavioral Health Specialists, and Assistants, including hiring, training, supervising, and coaching.
  • Oversee social work assessments and participation in interdisciplinary team meetings.
  • Ensure timely and effective delivery of social work interventions as outlined in participant care plans.
  • Monitor compliance in all social work areas, including documentation, assessments, care planning, participant rights, and grievance processes.
  • Oversee behavioral health programming such as support groups, individual counseling, and family education; collaborate with community professionals as needed.
  • Participate in end-of-life care coordination and support.
  • Conduct home visits, as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW required); licensure preferred.
  • 2 to 5 years of social work experience with at least 2 years of supervisory/leadership experience strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with frail or elderly populations.
  • Excellent clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record; proof of insurance required.
