Human Resources Generalist

Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to support a broad range of HR functions across the employee lifecycle. This role partners closely with senior leadership to drive effective HR operations, support employee engagement, and ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies.

The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage sensitive matters with discretion while contributing to a positive and high-performing workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, and employee relations
  • Partner with leadership to communicate and implement HR policies, procedures, and training initiatives
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, providing timely and professional guidance
  • Lead new hire orientation and manage onboarding processes to ensure a smooth and compliant employee experience
  • Maintain current knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices; communicate updates as appropriate
  • Assist in the development and execution of HR programs and talent management initiatives
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HRIS data, and documentation in compliance with company and regulatory requirements
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and compliant workplace environment aligned with organizational values
  • Support additional HR projects and initiatives as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an HR role with exposure to multiple HR disciplines
  • Working knowledge of core HR functions, including recruiting, onboarding, training and development, performance management, and employee engagement
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis) and Word
  • Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., ADP Workforce Now, Cornerstone) or ability to quickly learn new systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities
