General Responsibilities: Our client seeks a strong leader to guide aviation sales and client growth NATIONWIDE. We want someone the A/E/C industries with solid aviation knowledge. You will team up with client development and operations leaders to win public and private aviation clients, plus federal work. You will offer technical help on projects in your expertise and set standards for our staff. This role will be responsible for full P&L of the aviation sector work, as well as ability to build your own teams.
THIS POSITION CAN BE BASED ANYWHERE IN THE UNITED STATES, NO RELOCATION REQUIRED.
Essential Role and Responsibilities:
- Guide client growth and aviation pursuits throughout the United States.
- Build ties with current clients to add services, build trust, and raise revenue.
- Set practice standards for aviation work.
- Know and explain Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) rules on planning, design, engineering, and building.
- Cover airport lists and forecasts, airfield pavements, funding plans, visual aids, safety in construction, GIS data, facility needs, and more. Grasp aviation environmental and cultural resource rules.
- Secure spots on multi-year Airport Planning and Engineering contracts.
- Steer top projects and client bids with strategy and support.
- Track sector business development with leaders.
- Work with clients, stakeholders, and project managers to meet needs.
- Build relationships by showing how our clients team adds value over full project life.
- Win deals. Spot, assess, and plan pursuits.
- Craft win plans with client experience teams (CXT).
- Align on Go/No-Go calls.
- Track client satisfaction scores.
- Help leaders and project teams lift experiences.
- Aid office staff on client work and growth.
- Drive safety.
- Travel to meet clients, prospects, and check airport sites.
Requirements:
Bachelors in Business or Engineering is preferred.
- 10+ years with A/E/C experience.
- Drive for accountability, wins, learning, and growth.
- Hold industry ties.
- Domestic travel to projects with local ops, owners, A/E firms
