OVERVIEW
Effectively and efficiently assists in the management of projects including scheduling and installation for storefronts, curtain walls, and windows. Anticipates and reacts to problems to ensure that jobs happen as planned and the clients expectations are met or exceeded.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Other duties may be assigned.

Project Implementation:
Helps to coordinate activities of the project team
Insure client requirements, program and design are coordinated
Implement and manage project communication, submittals, material deliveries, budgets, schedules
Check engineering work and orders when requested
Set up and manage project implementation meetings and provide timely communications to all parties
Attend site progress meetings and report on status
Assist in project close out process and overall project performance review with estimating department and others
Assist in collection of outstanding receivables as requested
Internal:
Prepares project reports for management, client, or others (including timelines, budgets, or any other reports requested)
Consistently and thoroughly adheres to Standard Operating Procedures
Confers with client to provide technical advice and to resolve problems on site
Confers with Vice President or other senior managers to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority
Confers with Vice President (or President in his absence) to review RFPs, responses and contracts
Marketing and Sales:
Assist in the development of written proposals (review work plan and staffing for each phase of the project)
Maintain client satisfaction
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Assistant PM helps to supervise projects and the direct field labor for that specific project as assign by the operation manager, but does
not have supervisory responsibility over any other employees.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below
are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience:
A four year degree in building construction, engineering, architecture or a related field or higher
A minimum of one year of related experience. CAD ability desired and a plus
Technical expertise related to construction sufficient to ensure success in this position.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development related to our industry
Language Skills:
The Assistant Project Manager must be able to express ideas and thoughts clearly and effectively in both written and verbal
communication.
Must exhibit good listening and comprehension skills.
Reasoning Ability:
The Assistant Project Manager must be able to collect information, analyze and identify issues quickly and should be able to develop
alternative solutions for the project team and relate their impact on the project schedule or budget.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Assistant Project Managers must have 30 hour OSHA certification and are urged to have experience in CAD and be active in various local
chapters relative to our field and attend seminars and classes to enhance their ability and performance in the field.
Work Environment:
Duties will be carried out both at the client site and at the head office. Personal transportation to the job site is required. The Project
Manager must be able to prioritize and multi task various issues on various accounts. The Project Manager will manage the activities and time required to complete the project satisfactorily.
